“You deserve to be taught a lesson,” she said sharply with genuine irritation, borne out of the chagrin his folly had caused.
“What sort of lesson?”
“A simple old-fashioned lesson you won’t forget.” She paused to let what followed sink in. “I ought to put you across my knee.”
This sudden and brittle pronouncement brought shudders of suspense pinging up and down his spine. His face turned scarlet, his treacherous hands began to shake.
“You’ve ruined this meal with your childish expectations. You need an appointment with my knee. You’ve talked yourself into a good, hard spanking.”
